These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of mobile applications, games, websites, support services, and related digital products provided by EU Labs Inc (“EU Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our chess apps and other applications collectively, the “Services”.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Use of Our Services
You may use our Services only if you can legally enter into these Terms and only in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
Our Services are intended for personal, non-commercial use unless we give you written permission otherwise.
You agree not to misuse the Services or interfere with their normal operation.
2. App Store Terms
If you download our apps from the Apple App Store, your use of the app may also be subject to Apple’s terms, conditions, and policies, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and any applicable App Store rules.
These Terms apply between you and EU Labs Inc. Apple is not responsible for providing support or maintenance for our Services unless required by applicable law or Apple’s own terms.
3. License to Use the Services
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, EU Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use our apps for personal, lawful purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Services.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where allowed by law.
- Use the Services to build a competing product or service.
- Remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
- Use the Services in any unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent way.
4. Chess Apps and Gameplay Features
Our chess apps may include features such as chess boards, puzzles, lessons, saved games, ratings, leaderboards, multiplayer features, computer opponents, chess engines, analysis tools, achievements, and game history.
Gameplay results, ratings, rankings, or achievements are for entertainment, learning, and app functionality only. They do not represent official chess ratings unless clearly stated.
We may adjust, reset, remove, or restrict gameplay features, leaderboards, rankings, or accounts if we believe there has been cheating, abuse, technical error, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
5. Accounts and Profiles
Some Services may allow or require you to create an account, profile, username, or use third-party login services such as Apple Game Center.
You are responsible for keeping your account information secure. You agree not to impersonate another person or use a username that is offensive, misleading, unlawful, or violates another person’s rights.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Premium Features
Some Services may offer paid features, in-app purchases, subscriptions, upgrades, or premium content.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple. Billing, refunds, cancellations, and subscription management are generally controlled through your Apple ID and App Store account settings.
Unless otherwise stated, purchases are for personal use and do not grant ownership of the app, content, or underlying software.
We may change pricing, features, or availability of paid Services from time to time. Any changes to subscriptions will apply according to the rules of the applicable app marketplace and applicable law.
7. Free Trials and Promotions
We may offer free trials, promotional access, discounts, or limited-time features. These offers may be subject to additional terms and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
Unless stated otherwise, promotional offers are non-transferable and may be limited to one per user or account.
8. User Content and Feedback
Some Services may allow you to submit usernames, profile information, game data, messages, feedback, reviews, comments, bug reports, or other content “User Content”.
You retain any rights you have in your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant EU Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, display, and process that content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the Services.
You agree that your User Content will not:
- Violate any law or third-party rights.
- Contain abusive, hateful, threatening, obscene, or misleading material.
- Include malware, spam, or harmful code.
- Interfere with the Services or other users.
We may remove or restrict User Content at our discretion.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate rankings, or interfere with fair play.
- Use bots, scripts, automation, or unauthorized tools.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or accounts.
- Disrupt, overload, or damage the Services.
- Use the Services for unlawful or commercial purposes without permission.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.
- Violate intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
We may investigate violations and take action, including suspending access, removing content, resetting progress, or terminating accounts.

The Services, including apps, software, designs, graphics, logos, names, text, sounds, gameplay systems, puzzles, features, and other content, are owned by EU Labs Inc or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, we do not grant you any ownership rights in the Services.
“EU Labs” and related names, logos, and branding are trademarks or service marks of EU Labs Inc. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
11. Third-Party Services
Our Services may include or link to third-party services, platforms, ads, analytics tools, app stores, payment processors, game services, or websites.
We are not responsible for third-party services, content, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
12. Updates and Changes to the Services
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. Updates may add, change, or remove features.
Some features may require an internet connection, compatible device, operating system updates, or third-party services.
We are not responsible if the Services are unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party outages, or events beyond our control.

14. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for EU Labs or other users, or used the Services unlawfully or abusively.
After termination, your right to use the Services will end immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute provisions.

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EU Labs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.
We do not guarantee that:
- The Services will always be available, secure, or error-free.
- Gameplay, puzzles, analysis, ratings, or results will be accurate or uninterrupted.
- Defects or bugs will be corrected.
- The Services will meet your expectations.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EU Labs Inc and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, goodwill, device issues, service interruption, or gameplay progress.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of:
- The amount you paid to EU Labs for the Services during the 12 months before the claim; or
- USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EU Labs Inc and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:
- Your use of the Services.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your User Content.
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights.
18. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot legally be waived or limited.
If you are located in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer rights, these Terms apply only to the extent permitted by those laws.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to EU Labs Inc, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where local law requires otherwise.
If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws of your country or region of residence.
